PawsGuardian privacy policy

PawsGuardian is the registered business. PawsGuardian operates www.pawsguardian.app. This privacy policy is PawsGuardian’s policy, including SMS.

PawsGuardian does not show finders your exact pin, home address, legal name, phone, email, IP address, device details, microchip full number, or other pets on the account. That is PawsGuardian finder privacy. It is not a second SMS policy.

After the owner confirms, PawsGuardian shares the found photo, a 300-foot last-seen area, and an anonymous chat either person can leave.

PawsGuardian does not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared by PawsGuardian with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

If you give a phone number at signup and check the consent box, PawsGuardian collects that number and your consent so PawsGuardian can send transactional texts only: one-time confirmation codes, and alerts that a finder may have matched a registered pet. Texts are sent from PawsGuardian. PawsGuardian does not text marketing or ads. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to use PawsGuardian as a finder. PawsGuardian does not ask finders for a phone number and does not text finders. See PawsGuardian Terms.

Each phone keeps its own finder id and owner household. The PawsGuardian pet registry is not a public directory. Demo data still lives in a local JSON file so two phones on the same Wi-Fi can rehearse a reunion.
